Jamell Dacon is a Trinidad native who came to the United States on a Track scholarship. Jamell is currently working on getting his PHD at Michigan State University. Jamell talks about his experience coming to the United States and what cultural differences there were. One Jamell found was that here in Lansing there really wasn’t a place that you could go and learn or even practice cultural dancing. Thats when he founded Cultural Explosion.
